Space Miami, today the name is synonymous with dance music in the United States. The go-to venue for any nightlife enthusiast in the nation, the club is proudly marching on into it’s second decade of operation.With original residents such as legendary DJ/Producer Oscar G, trance maven Edgar V, house stalwart Roland, and local favorite Ivano Bellini, the gauntlet had been thrown down. Coupled with a sudden influx of guest DJs such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia (who played a record 20-hour set during the 2000 WMC), and a then-unknown Dutch fellow named Tiësto, the nightlife landscape of the area, and the nation as a whole had been shaken up.
Guest DJs of course took note of this phenomena, and these former main room denizens soon were requesting to work their magic on the outdoors. Closing times of 2 PM rapidly became the norm.Club Space is a large nightclub located in the downtown area of Miami, Florida. It is widely considered an international superclub and a key fixture in the dance music scene in Miami and the United States. The venue is generally thought of as being responsible for kickstarting the Entertainment District in Downtown Miami. The Entertainment district, as of 2007, features six nightclubs, each with a 24-hour liquor license, enabling them to operate well past the traditional 5 AM legal closing time of most nightclubs in Miami-Dade County.Space boasts a bi-level, high-energy party experience and places a roof over, in most cases, three of the most sonically sound charged rooms the scene has to offer. Calling and catering to the connoisseurs of the fine decibel, the setting pays a true homage to the arts of sound, light and magic! Equipped with the first DYNACORD Sound System in America and the best lighting the industry has to offer, the stage is set for a dance floor euphoria that no other club can re-create or begin to imitate… Resident DJ’s include Oscar G. Cedric Gervais, Patrick M. Ivano Bellini, Roland, Radamas, Cardi, and Lazardi. This is not to mention the World Class Guest DJ’s in constant rotation such as Deep Dish (Sharam + Dubfire), Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Sander Kleinenberg, Eric Prydz, Sander Van Doorn, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Lawler, Pete Tong and many more… The Main Room is found to host an oversized dance floor immersed in the traffic of sound as VIP onlookers party from a raised VIP Area on the north side of the room. It also offers one of the most unique and dazzling sound and light experiences in the world. On the second level, what used to be our VIP Mezzanine, has been converted into the Space Loft which is adjacent to our World Famous Rooftop Terrace!
